"Having owned a new 1999 Kawasaki 800, a new 1999 Suzuki LC1500, a new 2003 Kawasaki Nomad, a new 2004 Harley Softail Heritage Classic, a new 2007 Harley Ultra Glide Classic and now having purchased a new 2007 Goldwing GL1800, I feel qualified to honestly say that my buying experiences, bar none, could not have been any better than what I experienced by purchasing my new GL1899 from KHM. I want to thank the owner, Milt, for a no pressure sale. The service manager Rod - many tks for getting my new bike in for the 1,000 mile service even though your department was booked solid. The parts department - well all I can say about it is their manager, for a few days, put up with me as I was placing my orders for many different accessories and then changing my mind, etc. He and the entire parts department went out of their way to ensure the entire transaction went extremely smooth. The entire dealership from the owner down went out of their way to ensure I was a happy customer and one that will remain that way. Many tks to everybody!!!! "To whom it may concern, also and especially Milt and Kathy: I would like the owner/owners of Honda of Medford to know what a fine service and parts department personnel they have working for them. Myself and a friend of mine were on a 4K mile trip from Phoenix, Arizona, when in Florence, Oregon I noticed my rear tire on my 2001 Gold Wing was bad. Of course it was on a Monday and your dealership was closed. We made it to Grants Pass and on Tuesday called you folks and first contacted the parts dept. to see if a tire was even available. The first person I talked to was Jeff and I explained our trip situation. He was polite and efficient and said I had two choices of tires that were in stock and on in fact were on sale. He also physically went and checked to make sure there was no inventory computer glitch before making an appt. with the service dept. He also said; Before I do anything is the tire safe to ride on? I think as busy as this young man was; he had his wits about him to ask me that question is commendable. I was transferred to Herb in the service dept., who was extremely busy and booked up. However he took the time to check with Dwayne, your service manager and see if they could work me in. Lucky for me Dwayne gave the okay for the tire R and R. Herb got a few details from me and said to make it down, but warned me it may take several hours for the new tire change. I was again asked by Herb, Is the tire safe to ride on? About an hour and half later we were at your dealership unloading saddlebags in a box that Ranger had found for me, and later Herb moved it so that nobody would mess with my personal belongings. Within no time Ranger was moving my Wing to the service dept. My friend and I looked through you store which is very well displayed and then went to Costco for a hotdog. When we came back we took the liberty to lay on your front lawn under the nice shade trees by the white Hummer. We had laid there about twenty minutes when here came Larry with my Wing with a new rear tire!! Larry was also very professional and helpful and was the tech that had done the work. It’s always nice for the opportunity to ask the tech what condition the splines; final area and so in are in. Even though he was extremely busy he took the time to give me a quick rundown of what he had done. In fact later as I was paying and getting ready to load up, he double checked to make sure everything was okay. Having mechanical trouble on vacation is always nerve racking, especially several thousand miles away from home. However the kindness, concern and professionalism shown by Herb, Dwayne, Jeff, Larry, and Ranger can’t go unnoticed. In my opinion personnel like the above mentioned is what makes a dealership no matter how large or small. Thanks to you all! P.S. - I apologize if I misspelled your name or left anyone out.
